Grand Banks 36 Classic in Slight to Moderate Sea

This video was shot on passage between Granville, France and St Helier, Jeresey.

We spent a week in the fantastic town of Granville and hired a car to explore the area including the landing beaches of Normandy.  The shopping in Granville is great and there are also numerous excellent restaurants and bars.

We had expected to stay longer in France but the weather forecast was showing high winds and rough seas, so we decided to make a run for it before the weather got to bad.  The wind blew up to Westerly Force 4 with a good moderate sea and later got to a Force 8 after we arrived safely back to St Helier.  The Grand Banks 36 Classic is an amazing vessel and handles the moderate sea easily.  The video unfortunately does not fully convey how rough the seas really is.  We were comfortable and enjoyed the passage, we had snacks and I enjoyed several cups of coffee.
