Grand Banks 36 Classic Walkthrough

Having owned Harmony Stove for a number of years it time to part with her.

The Grand Banks 36 Classic was constructed in 1973 and is in near original set up.  She started her life in the Solent, moved to Wales then to Scotland were we found her. She was moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands where she visited on numerous occasions when se was located in the Solent.

When we got her she was in a fair condition however she soon undertook a program of maintenance works including new fuel tanks, provision of sound insulation in the engine room together with decorations internally, varnishing of the internal and external teak, replacement and additional electronics.

The engines are a pair of Ford Lemans 120hp and were in fantastic condition with only maintenance works carried out together with the replacement of the gear box shock plates.

She has been a fantastic vessel and has safely taken us all over the Channel Islands and adjacent French Coast.  She is very comfortable with a triple stern cabin with en-suite heads.  There is a forward V birth with en-suite heads.  The saloon is very comfortable with a L shaped seating of the Starboard side, together with a drinks cabinet and further seating and a galley on the Port side.  Forward of the saloon is the helm area with an array of navigation electronics including AIS, Chart Plotter, Depth Sounder, VHF Radio and an Auto Pilot.

There is a forward and aft deck area which means that there is always some where sheltered or some where to keep cool.  The fly bridge provides a covered commanding location with seating, a deck area and a helm location with stand alone chart plotter, VHF radio, repeat depth sounder and engine instruments.

This video is a walk through of Harmony Stove.

Harmony Stove is now sold and the hunt is on to attain a larger vessel.
