This is the pan head that I use with my Manfrotto tripods. The fluid panhead is smooth with a long quick release plate with adjustment to enable centre of gravity balancing of the camera.

The handle fits either to the left or right hand side to suite preferred operational side. The tilt locking and resistance adjustment is also both on the left and right hand side to suite personal preference.
The pan head is relatively light weight but has a load capacity of 4kg with the release plate being provided with both 1/4 and 3/8 screws and the bubble level is very useful.
This pandhead has given me very good service and I am happy to recommend this product.
